The problem

Sleeves were the safest part of the trip. Until they weren't.

Every major grading service requires you to ship cards in a clear, semi-rigid sleeve. It's a sensible rule — the sleeve protects the card and lets the grader inspect it.

But the sleeves themselves are tight. Cards stick. Pulling them out is where bends, scratches, and dented corners happen — and a single dinged edge can drop a grade and thousands of dollars off the card's value.

TopRipz keeps everything the graders require, and removes the part that damages the card.

1
Single deliberate pull to open the sleeve cleanly
How it works

Three steps. The last one is the only one that's new.

Steps one and two are exactly what every grader's submission guide already tells you to do. Step three replaces a stressful pull with a single tear.

1

Slide your card in

Standard top-loader fit. Snug four-corner contact, no rattle.

2

Submit for grading

Fill out your form, ship to PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC or TAG in the same sleeve.

3

Grader rips the tab

The front of the sleeve opens cleanly along the perforation. The card lifts out — no friction, no corner pressure.

Inside the sleeve

A familiar standard, plus one perforation.

Built to the exact submission-supply standard graders already require — clear, semi-rigid, 30pt-compatible. We added the tab and changed nothing else.

FAQ

The questions collectors actually ask.

Can't find your answer? support@topripz.com

Why not just use a regular semi-rigid?
Regular semi-rigid sleeves are tight by design — they have to be, to hold the card flush. That tightness is what causes friction damage during extraction. TopRipz keeps the same protective standard, but adds a tear-tab so the sleeve opens around the card instead of dragging against it.
Which grading services accept TopRipz?
Accepted as a submission supply by all major US graders — including PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC, and TAG. The sleeve meets the standard clear, semi-rigid requirement that each service publishes in their submission guidelines.
Will the tear-tab open accidentally in transit?
No. The perforation requires a deliberate pull — single-pass tear, two-finger grip. It doesn't separate from incidental pressure, drops, or shipping handling. We've stress-tested through standard USPS, UPS, and FedEx flows.
What card sizes does it fit?
Standard trading card size, up to 30pt thickness — covering the vast majority of modern and vintage cardboard. Thicker cards (55pt, 75pt, 100pt+) will need a sized variant; those are on the roadmap.
Is it actually recyclable?
Yes. The body is PETG — resin identification code 1 — which is accepted in curbside recycling streams across most US municipalities. The tear-tab strip drops in too.
